Preparation

Sweeping or Vacuuming

Pay particular attention to high-traffic areas, spills, and stains. If necessary, leave the solution on the floor for a few minutes to loosen stubborn dirt or stains.

Rinse Mop

Rinse the mop head regularly in clean water to remove dirt and prevent it from recontaminating the floor. Wring out any excess water to maintain the correct moisture level as you wipe.

Address Stains or Spills

If you encounter stubborn stains or spills while mopping, stop and apply more cleaning solution directly to the area. Gently scrub with the mop or a soft brush to loosen the stain before continuing with regular mopping.

Change Cleaning Solution

If the cleaning solution becomes visibly dirty or loses its effectiveness, replace it regularly to ensure optimal cleaning results.

Dry the Floor

After mopping the entire floor, allow it to air dry or use a clean, dry mop or cloth to remove excess moisture. This step will help prevent slips and falls, ensuring a dry surface for guests.

Replace Furniture and Rugs

When the floor is completely dry, return any furniture or rugs that were moved during the mopping process. Ensure that furniture legs have protective pads to prevent scratches or damage to the floor.
